{"id":9966,"date":"2024-06-27T22:45:35","date_gmt":"2024-06-27T22:45:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/antennasimulator.com\/?p=9966"},"modified":"2024-06-27T22:45:36","modified_gmt":"2024-06-27T22:45:36","slug":"solving-the-rounded-corner-challenge-in-antenna-simulations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/antennasimulator.com\/index.php\/2024\/06\/27\/solving-the-rounded-corner-challenge-in-antenna-simulations\/","title":{"rendered":"Solving the Rounded Corner Challenge in Antenna Simulations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Helping a customer solve a real-world problem is incredibly rewarding!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, we worked with a client building <strong>Omni Double Bi-Quad<\/strong> antennas for <strong>2.4 GHz<\/strong> who was facing a mismatch between simulations and real-world performance. The culprit? <strong>Rounded corners<\/strong>, not represented in the model. By creating a script that considered rounded corners, we were able to achieve a more accurate simulation, leading to a new AN-SOF command called <strong>GB<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8216;GB&#8217; simplifies creating rounded corner models, <strong>saving time<\/strong> and <strong>improving simulation accuracy<\/strong> compared to the older &#8216;GA&#8217; NEC command.
