To install AN-SOF, please follow these steps:
📥 Step 1: Click the button below to download the AN-SOF installer.
▶ Step 2: Run the downloaded installer file. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation process.
🛠️ Step 3: Locate the ANSOF.exe application. You can find it in your Windows Start menu or in the installation directory (C:\AN-SOF X, where “X” is the software version). For quick access, we recommend creating a shortcut on your desktop.
🆕 Step 4: Check out the latest features and improvements in AN-SOF here: Release Notes. Once installed, AN-SOF will be ready for use in Trial Mode. The trial version is fully featured but limited to calculations with up to 50 segments + connections. For more details, visit our FAQ.

Manual Installation
📥 Step 1: Click the button below to download a .zip file containing the AN-SOF installation files.
📂 Step 2: Unzip the downloaded file. Create a folder at C:\AN-SOF and save the extracted files there. Avoid system folders such as Program Files.
🛠️ Step 3: Locate the ANSOF.exe application and run it. For your convenience, you can also create a shortcut on your Windows desktop.
AN-SOF files are free from viruses, but Windows Defender or other antivirus programs may display a warning when executing ANSOF.exe. If a warning window appears (typically blue), click on “More Info” and then select “Run Anyway” as shown in the image below. In some cases, you may need to right-click on ANSOF.exe and choose “Run as administrator” to launch the application successfully.
License Activation
To activate your AN-SOF license:
- Launch AN-SOF.
- Navigate to Main Menu > Help > Activate AN-SOF.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to submit the serial number associated with your computer and request an activation key. 🔑
