Troubleshooting
You have entered an invalid activation key. Find the AN-Key app and launch it. Press the “Trial Key” button and then “Activate”. Restart AN-SOF. Follow the instructions in the AN-Key window to request a valid key corresponding to your serial number if you have purchased a license. Uninstall AN-SOF. Then go to C:\Program Files (x86) and delete all the folders whose names start with “AN-SOF Professional”. Reinstall AN-SOF. Find the AN-Key app and launch it. Uninstall AN-SOF. Then go to C:\Program Files (x86) and delete all the folders whose names start with “AN-SOF Professional”. Reinstall AN-SOF.
Press Ctrl + Alt + Del and run the Task Manager. Right click on the application that is not working and choose “End Task”.
Among the instructions to install AN-SOF you also received a link to download a math package. Install this package on the same drive where you installed AN-SOF. Math Package here >.
Navigate to the folder that you specified when using the installer. The default folder is “C:\Program Files (x86)\AN-SOF Professional X”, where X is the AN-SOF version. Then, launch ANSOF.exe directly from that location. You can create a shortcut to this file on the Windows desktop if you wish.
Perform the following steps:
- Open a Run dialog box by selecting Run from the Windows Start menu.
- Open a DOS command prompt window by running the command “cmd”.
- Use the DOS command “cd” to change directories to $MCR_ROOT\v70\runtime\win32, where $MCR_ROOT is the root directory in which you tried installing MCR package.
- Execute the following commands:
- regsvr32 mwcomutil.dll
- regsvr32 mwcommgr.dll
- After executing each of these commands, a dialog box should appear stating that the COM server has been successfully registered. After this step, installation of MCR should be complete.
