Introducing the AN-SOF Engine: Power, Speed, and Flexibility for Antenna Simulation

At Golden Engineering, engineering is our key differentiator. We develop software tools to empower your antenna innovations, combining deep expertise in both software development and antenna engineering.

With the release of AN-SOF PRO 10, we’re excited to introduce the AN-SOF Engine – a standalone console application that can be integrated with other software tools.

The AN-SOF Engine delivers three major advancements:

1. Solve Larger Problems:

Run independently from AN-SOF PRO, with limits only by your system’s RAM. This removes the 10-square-wavelength restriction for modeling solid metallic surfaces, enabling the simulation of electrically larger aperture and reflector antennas, such as horns and parabolic dishes.

2. 3x Faster Performance:

Experience significantly faster simulations compared to the standard engine in AN-SOF PRO – without compromising accuracy. The AN-SOF Engine retains the high precision of AN-SOF’s exclusive Conformal Method of Moments, ensuring reliable results even at increased speeds.

3. Optimization Flexibility:

After decades of evolution, there’s now a plethora of well-established optimization methods that can be used, leveraged, and tried. The AN-SOF Engine provides the flexibility to apply the optimization strategy that best suits your needs, including AI-powered tools. We’ll offer a collection of free script optimizers that call the Engine iteratively, empowering you to experiment and innovate.

The AN-SOF Engine is exclusively included in our Platinum plan. Existing Platinum customers will receive the Engine and optimization scripts in the coming days.

We’ve chosen Scilab (a free, open-source alternative to Matlab) as our preferred scripting platform for its versatility. Soon, we’ll also provide algorithms in other languages.

Happy antenna simulating! 🚀
