RCS of Aircraft
Updated
Simulation of a plane wave reaching the path of an airplane.
An external plane wave reaches the airplane from its tail. The wave E-field is oriented along the plane wings. The RCS (Radar Cross Section) can be analyzed by plotting the far-field pattern which shows the re-radiated power. The near field is calculated just in front of the plane to analyze the wave transmission after crossing the plane.
